You have to know my first answer is they are both the awesome :D

That said, they each have their own individual sound, and I think the Rosewood/Englemann is a little more responsive and a little brighter than the Maple/German, but I think that's due ...

I've been looking for awhile now, and finally found another baby, a 2019 Baby-he.

What a beautiful Collings sound she has; the Rosewood and Engelmann combination is simply awesome

Gryphon has a 1996 Baby 2H on their site now. 1-11/16" nut.

Due to the slow onset of good ole arthritis, I'm actually leaning towards another Baby; the 24' scale is much easier to handle. That doesn't mean I'm ruling ...
