Re: How much for a stock D2H this year?
$4600 is the 2018 list price (updated the second half of last year, after they decided not to wrap the standard line in the Collings cases)
So currently, that should sell for $4,140.
On 6/1, the list price and selling price for a brand new D2H with no options will be $4,450.

Re: Collings 6/1
As we understand it, the cases are not being completely discontinued, but will be sold direct, a la carte, as available. Re: The new AT 00. Can someone fill us all in?
Expect the Waterloo AT models to be rolled out first (we're told sometime this spring, they're taking pre-orders).
From what I've been told, they are still not set up to create archtops of any type in high numbers... so these might not come along much quicker than AT-16s. We'll see what develops.

Re: SJ Short Scale?
Really appreciate it, John. Feel free to call any time if you want to talk Collings! Thank you all for the feedback. I've ordered the SJ. It will be a short scale maple with a German top, no tongue brace, and 1 11/16 nut. I might adjust the order and switch to adi braces. (Both my two Collings with ...

Re: SJ Short Scale?
SJs are wonderful in short scale! Especially in maple, I don't think you'll lose any of the crispness or strumming qualities that you're hoping for. Short scale is consistent with a lot of the classic J-185s, but of course Collings put his spin on the tone, with a sharper mid-range. For sure, under-...
