Re: 2020 Collings D1AT Satin
Hello- sorry for the confusion. I thought I had updated this ad. I have it for sale on AGF and UMGF and am not quite as active on this forum. The guitar is $4350+ shipping. Here is a link with pics and the current ad. Again sorry for the confusion. https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/showthre...

Re: CJ 45
I've been playing my CJ45T non stop and it has opened up TREMENDOUSLY. The guitar was finished at Collings in mid August and I took delivery in late August. It barely knew it was a guitar yet (and still sounded great). The newness is starting to wear off and I can feel the vibrations throughout the ...

Re: CJ 45
I actually tried NB strings and did not like them that much. I switched back to EJ17's and found the sound I liked. I may experiment with Martin Retro's, I tend to like them more than the NB. This guitar has a haunting mid range quality that I can't get enough of. It truly is very different than any...

Re: CJ 45
I now have a CJ45T as well (Sitka) and it is one of the best guitars I've owned! It is dry, extremely powerful, full, and contrary to what I heard has a huge bass. This guitar doesn't lose any volume or tone up the neck either. Really oustanding. I also have a D1AT satin that is extremely loud and w...

Re: 2020 Collings D1AT Satin
Have been wavering on selling this one. I think I finally decided to let it go (against my better judgement!). Let me know if you are interested.

Re: Change in Adhesive on T Models
Great discussion. I also have a D1AT Satin and learned from Collings that the move away from Animal Protein Glue was in January 2020.

Re: looking for Trad 1-11/16
Hi Tom. Interested in a 2017 Collings OM1 Julian Lage with the 1 11/16th nut? You can read all about my thoughts on this guitar on UMGF

Re: Joined the OM1A JL Club
I totally agree! I am so used the vintage now profile on my D1A, but I bought my OM 1 JL (sitka) used with the 1 11/16th profile and it is now my favorite BY FAR. I can play so much faster and cleaner and the profile fits my hand perfectly. This guitar is such a joy to play and is so loud, lively, r...
