Re: OM2H 2001 or OM2H 2021?

There are lots of reasons to buy an older, well-played in Collings. Old, played-in wood is a great thing - even greater on a Collings. However, as someone who drank the Collings kool-aid several years ago, I will say....to my ear, Collings is currently building the very best guitars that I have hear...

Re: Collings OM1 - Red Mountain Cedar/bs & Sitka

I've been looking for an OM1 off and on for quite some time. I'd never actually played a Collings but read so many great reviews about them and was completely enamored by how they are built and the integrity of the company that I had to try one. After missing a number of opportunities, I was contac...

Re: 14 Fret 0 Size

Collings single 0’s are really wonderful. No, not a dread in bass, but also not a dread in size. :D

They give up little to an OM, and after having owned several over the years, I am kicking myself for not having one currently. Great guitars!

Re: Bourgeois OM

Dana builds great guitars, but they can be heavy. They do sound more like the Collings Traditional line than the standard line, and fit/finish/woods are excellent.

I would happily own a Bourgeois OM, and have, but this time around I would look at mahogany and baked Sitka.

FS: Collings 00-14 Fret Traditional Adi/Mahogany

Hi All - So, this one hurts....but, I just am better suited for the standard Collings neck carve and the narrower 2 3/16" string spacing. I guess this old dog, can't learn new tricks. This is an outstanding Collings 00 14 fret Traditional. These are getting a lot of love and with good reason. T...
