Since sunburst are individually painted, no two are exactly the same. The ones shown don't appeal to me but they may someone else. Just find one you like the sound and look of and take it home.

I can't think of anything to look for other than what you would look for with any used guitar. Collings are among the best-built guitars and they hold up well. Check for any damage/repair, proper humidification, neck angle, string and saddle height... play it and if you like it, make your decision.

I find the neck robust and wonderful to play.

If it's that good.......... it sounds like something you should beg, barter, trade or sell to purchase. I certainly wouldn't be telling folks like me to go buy it, we might.
