Wondering what owner's thoughts are about these guitars. Im interested on the 14 slope sholder (j45 copy) model. They look great.
Thanks for your guys replies.

Re: will a handmade D style collings case work for an OM collings withoiut problems?
The OM has room to slide back & forth about 1/2+ inch in the D case. Also with case closed, the OM will move up & down. I would not travel with it like that but if your lusting after the handmade cases, and plan to keep at house with minimal movement, it should be fine. You could possibly fi...

Re: Collings Case Vs. Calton
Thanks for asking this, i was literally gonna make a post about this. Im in same situation and have been wondering this too. I have all handmade cases for my Collings and was wondering if Calton is better against the humidity and temp fluctuations. I love the collings handmade case but its all about...

Re: Collings Restored Our Damaged OM1
Another reason why I buy solely from Collings. Not only are their guitars spectacular....the customer service is spectacular as well. Very happy to hear that they got your OM1 back to playing condition! Drinking and fine guitars is always a dangerous combo. I had a '57 Southern Jumbo that I set down...

Looks like an incredible offering. Stunning.
There's gonna be 24 really happy campers out there
Hopefully they continue the T models to:
000 12 fret
DS models.

Re: New truss rod arrangement on Traditionals - Noticeable difference?
Magnet Test: A small magnet(nickel size or smaller) will hold directly in the center of the neck, if its the new neck design. If it's the old design, it will pull to either side(towards fretboard) I've owned both T models(D1AT) with both necks, i prefer the newer one. Hard to describe, exactly what'...

Re: No More Collings Cases?
Yes a CJ45 in the vintage case would be awesome, but those 45T's are top dollar. Hopefully i can get one eventually. Im looking forward to real player reviews soom once they are in the guitarist hands. I agree too, that we'll probaly see less and less cases for used Collings online or they will be p...
