Re: I35 LC vs. City Limits?
At band practice tonight, I used my I-35LC into my Gries 36 (only 4 knobs) head into a 2x12 open back cab with Neo Creambacks. All the guys raved about the great tones and I was digging getting controlled feedback at various times. Such a cool guitar, and the Lollar Imperial Standards are fantastic!

The Mesa Fillmore 25. Go try one out. Blackface cleans to low/med gain with a great reverb. 2 identical channels with clean, drive, and hi modes.

Re: Why so little discussion on the City Limits models?!
I was just getting some quality time in with my City Limits. C-Virus out there means more guitar time in here. So I played my 4 LP types back to back. CL, PRS core Singlecut, Cloud 9 '58 Historic CR8, and Grosh Set Neck. All unplugged. All have a different feel, and all are very fine instruments. Ye...

Re: Guitar recommendation needed
Another recommendation as a 290 as your first Collings. It will not be your last! It is a great all-rounder, without breaking the bank. I picked up a nice cherry pre-owned one about 10 years ago. The fit, finish, tuning stability, playability, and tone are all top notch. Since then I've added a 360 ...
