Re: Trance Audio Amulet in Traditional
At the risk of being impolite to a potentially new forumite, this reply sounds a lot like the output of an LLM such as ChatGPT.

Re: Introduction and a question
For soundhole pickups, I've used two (well, three if you include the old Dean Markley, which wasn't tonally good). I used the LR Baggs M1 (passive version) in my D2H from 2005 onward (running into a Baggs Para Acoustic D.I. box). It's a humbucking design, so it's quiet, but that same design emphasiz...

PSA: used City Limits with Ron Ellis pickups
I recently found a dealer listing for a used 2022 City Limits with Ron Ellis LRP (Leroy Parnell) humbucker pickups. Ron is making some of the finest humbuckers (and others) on the market today. I bought an I-35 LC solely on the strength of those pickups, and I've never regretted it. I was sorely tem...

Re: You can only have two.
First: +1 on the B&H (Blazer and Henkes). Desert island guitars, to be sure. Second: responding to Frank Sanns' post from last year (!) about the D size: Last summer, my nephew, who is a fine guitarist versed in fingerpicking, jazz, and more, visited me for the first time. I brought out the high...

Re: Short scale OM2H - is it normal that it sounds "dry"?
As noted, many variables and unknowns (e.g., how old is the guitar, how was it cared for). I'd expect Indian rosewood back and sides to provide a fair amount of reverb. The string type and freshness would be the first place to look. If they're older, ask the shop to put a fresh set of good strings o...

Re: WTB: Waterloo WL-12
I know it's been almost one year, but if you're still looking for one, Acoustic Music Works in Pittsburgh has a used 2018 WL-12. (I have no affiliation with them.)

Re: Collings Missed At NAMM
In early April, The Music Emporium posted a video and listings for the "Collings Guitars NAMM 2023" that they were selling. Link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fkqx2icCPMA Links to each guitar were provided in the video description: Collings OM3 Reclaimed Alaskan Spruce &...

Re: NGD PRS DGT
Congratulations, Dale! I'm looking forward to a video demo and/or report on its tones, etc. I had read good things about this model (and David Grissom) in the ToneQuest Report not long ago. (BTW, you were mentioned by name in an article in a recent issue of TQR!)
