I have a 2007 OM2HG and it has been my favorite OM from Collings after having owned, maybe 6 or 7 others. Never had the deep body option, instead go with SJ model for more depth in sound.

Yes, I remember reading about the Alien many times on the Collings forum and actually playing it at Tom's house in Somoma back in 2009 while visiting wine country. I was so impressed with the sound that I bought a 2007 Collings OM2HG when I got home to replace the OM2Hss that I had been playing for ...
