Oops, been kinda out of touch. I replaced them with Waverly golds with ebony buttons. Never understood why Collings doesn't go the extra step on their best, especially after purposely making the logo inlay gold. The nickel just doesn't look right. Off Spec Affect On Value
I've run into an odd duck of a Collings build. It's a DS2H with a paddle headstock and a 1.75" nut. It actually doesn't look bad to me based on a photo. I'm wondering how those deviations would affect its valuation on the market.
