Re: Waterloo Sighting
Yes, that's her well broken in WL-14. I saw her at a small used record store in Bloomington, IL. in 2018 on her first visit to the US and she played that guitar. The wear on the front seen in this video wasn't there yet. I sat 10 feet from her and she was amazing. She said she changes the strings on ...

Re: What would WE like to see by Waterloo?
How about a simple OM or maybe a 14 fret 000? Keep the Waterloo ethos of no frills and no bling. It will never happen but that's my input.

Re: NGD WL-14 Scissortail
Congratulations! I've always wanted to compare the Scissortail to my WL-12. Both share the spruce/maple recipe with the obvious difference being the 12 vs 14 fret neck join. Enjoy!

Re: Hoping for Waterloo alternatives
Iris seems to be the best alternative right now. I played an AB model and the Dan Erlewine signature at Elderly Instruments and they both impressed me. As Georgelange mentioned, there are used Waterloos to be found but they're not in large supply. I know I'm holding on to my WL-12. I sold my WL-S ...

Re: Why is This Forum Dead?
Thanks, Frank. Don't blame yourself. Waterloo is a niche brand with relatively few instruments in circulation and those lower numbers likely are part of the reason for a low traffic site. Still, I have several guitars and whenever I grab my WL-12 it reminds me that Bill hit the bullseye when he ...

Why is This Forum Dead?
I love my WL-12 and have also owned a WL-14 and WL-S Deluxe. The only question I have in my life is why this site is so quiet?

Waterloo Fever Alive & Well!
Like a lot of players, I spend too much time web surfing on guitar sites and dealer inventories. To my point: Yesterday I surfed on over to the Dave's Guitar Shop site because they move of LOT of instruments. They had a new WL-14x in black with a fire stripe pickguard. Less than 30 minutes later it ...

Re: NUGD: Waterloo WL 12 mh
I'd love to get my hands on that model. I have a Martin 000-15S but I have to believe the Waterloo would be even better. Enjoy!
