Re: C-100

Collings tops the chart with clarity, if that’s what you’re after. I played my first C-100 today, a used model in a shop. It was quite comfortable and had a nice all-around voice. I wasn’t able to compare it to a Martin dread (or, directly, to any other dread, though I played dreads as well). I’m no...

Re: 1993 Collings Staff featured by Gryphon newsletter

Wow that is amazing — thanks for the post. Love the goofy old print publications that oozed with character.

I also hadn’t heard about the pending retirement. Any more details?

Re: Waterloo Production Status 2022

I’ve heard/read the same rumors and don’t have any new info I’d call solid. I have heard they’re still putting out a couple a month, but I don’t know if that’s accurate. Or, if so, whether they’re still producing Waterloos or just finishing up ones in progress. It has been interesting to see them al...

Re: Jumbo King ... 12 fret ???

I foolishly sold my WL-JK; I had just bought a Gibson J-35 and thought another jumbo was unnecessary. I was mistaken, the -JK was the better guitar. I have been looking for a -JK for a couple of years with no success. I have both an early WL-14 and a WL-12Mh but would love another -JK. How many WL-...

Re: 0002H T limited run?

Thanks for these links.

It will be interesting to see how fast these sell at this price point.

I noticed Gryphon got one in. Anyone laid hands on it yet?

Re: 0002H T limited run?

Has anyone gotten their hands on one of these yet? I see Acoustic Music Works got one in. Perhaps other dealers now as well.

I hope someone has a first-hand report or makes a demo soon. They look gorgeous of course.

Re: 0002H T limited run?

For me as well the deep body makes it a no-go. You can bet the normal 000-T will follow this limited deep-body release. Why wouldn’t it? Unless they couldn’t get the formula to work on a 000. But I doubt that. So start saving your pennies. A giant penny jar is now open and saving has commenced.

They are gorgeous and I’m sure will sound fantastic. Still hope to see/play one someday.

Re: 0002H T limited run?

https://larkguitars.com/products/collings-limited-run-0002h-custom-t-sunburst These folks have one advertised. Good eye! Yowza that’s more than the CJ-45 T. Quite alluring. I hope I can find one to try. I’m not sure about the deep body because of arm/shoulder issues. Edited to add: This is in the b...
