Whoa!!! I just found out to my pleasant surprise that the Collings Forum has been back for some time. I had always felt that the Collings Forum in particular had a ridiculous amount of knowledge where the pleasantness far outweighed the snobbery that you would typically find with such a revered bra...

I admire your taste in archtops! Those are tough to find. Have you considered the Waterloo versions? Not in the same league perhaps but they enjoy terrific reviews. Good luck with your search!

Your comments are right on the mark. I think the problem for the buyer was that the damage was concealed. If the dealer is reputable, then I'd guess that it was unintentional. At any rate, the buyer has to feel comfortable.
