thanks for the replies. To the gentleman who ordered a Calton for the CL.... How much padding is around the guitar? Did they use a special mold for a 15" or is the outer shell made for a 16" with extra padding inside? thanks I spoke with Calton Cases about your query...they have a templat...

I have a handmade small archtop that looks just about on spec with the CL Jazz thinline... 2" depth though. If anyone has been down this road... Does Calton, Hoffee or anyone in this quality range, offer a shell for a 15" archtop? I fear if I ordered something they would heavily pad a muc...

I have also had good interactions with both Steve and Ray at AMW. They are good people. I am fortunate to live in Pittsburgh so it is mostly face to face contact which is missing too much in our world today. My wallet however, is not so fortunate with my close proximity to AMW!
