Re: Action change

Yes, don’t attempt to adjust the truss. Please leave it up to the pros.

Re: Collings Restored Our Damaged OM1

So happy to hear that Collings replaced the neck and fixed the rest of the guitar. They are Truly a great American company. Did the mother of the bride at least apologize for her actions?

Re: Questions on Collings Traditional Cases

I really miss the Collings traditional cases. I think they are making a big mistake in discontinuing those cases. All the other cases are a let down or really mixes ones are way too expensive for me

Re: Collings Logo inside the guitar

I thought perhaps Bill Collings had drawn the picture but I guess not

Re: Effect of picks on sound.

I have tried all types and sizes of picks over the years but I prefer the smaller Dunlop translucent picks. I get the sound I like and I find also that my right hand is less encumbered with the smaller pick as opposed to the larger bluegrass type of pick.

How do you like the larger neck size? Have you ever played the standard neck?

Still a couple of these limited edition guitars for sale if you need to have one. They won’t ship out of the country though

Re: What Guitars do you have that you wish you could get by Collings?

How about a D-35 type of guitar with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides? Maybe you could do a nice inlay as well.

Re: Pre-War Guitars Co - looking for opinions

I think the Pre-war company does the best job of capturing the sound and overall feel of a great pre war Martin guitar and Gibson guitar. I have two of them, a dreadnought BRW and a OM 28. They are slightly aged and sound really nice.
