It’s been my experience that pins might make a bit of difference in the high end, but none in the low. I suspect it may be that your Ad top needs more time to loosen up.

Glad it worked out. I’ve bought several high dollar guitars from CME and they have always been great. I recommend them highly.

I used Pearse Phosphor Bronze for years, but once I tried Elixir Nanoweb PB’s, I’ve never looked back. They sound better, feel better, and last 10 times as long. I’m never going back.

I’ve liked the two baked top Collings I’ve had, an OM2H T and my current D2H MRA T. Would I have liked them better with standard tops? Who knows?
