Re: FS - Red-Eye Instrument Pre-amp $125

Thanks for the endoresment. I'm super surprised that this is still available.

This really is "as new". Used a couple of times and comes with a cloth bag/case and original box.

$125 +SH.

FS - Red-Eye Instrument Pre-amp $125

I have a "mint" Fire-Eye - Red-Eye preamp for sale. Great sounding and simple to use.
I have (3) pre-amps so I'm selling one to buy other equipment.
Here's the link to the manufacturers site.

Re: James Taylor's tuning method

Thanks for the tip on the "Airy-Tuner". I just DL it and it's a pretty cool app. It's very sensitive for sure. I have a strobe tuner and this seems to be as accurate. I tried the JT sweetened tuning it does indeed seem to sweeten the over-all tuning. Thanks!

Still looking! Engelmann would also be an acceptable option!

WTB: Collings om1ss

I'm looking for an OM1ss, preferably no tongue brace. Either German/European Spruce, possibly Torrified Sitka.

Must have 1-3/4" nut and prefer 2 1/4 saddle spacing but will consider others. No traditional neck profiles.
