Re: FS: Collings 290 Aged w/'52-54 ThroBaks

Hi Bob, Yes, the cracked finish is part of Collings "Aged" style. All aspects of the guitar have a cracked finish except for the neck. In the photos, there are covers on the control cavities. Collings uses clear covers, but includes black plastic ones in the case for those who do not like ...

For sale is one 2019 D1AT with rare drop-in saddle option and 1 3/4" nut. Come with original OHSC (TKL). This guitar could pass for "mint". Looking to clear $Sold after all expenses. For those about to ask, I won't be able to respond lowball offers. Thanks for looking! https://i.imgur...

Is anyone selling a mint condition OM1AJL? I might have something to trade as well if you're looking to swap for another Collings. Let's talk.

Re: Finally got my hands on a Satin finish D1!!

Hey, markT--I just ordered this exact same guitar from The Music Emporium. Should be here tomorrow or Saturday, I hope. I couldn't play it first, of course, but I'm trusting Joe at the shop, who really loved it and he seems to know a lot about guitars. It sure is a beautiful instrument. Congrats! C...

Re: NAMM 2020

I played one of the very first D1AT Satin guitars last week. Really great guitar, but oddly I am not convinced that it’s better than my 2017 D1AT, just different. I may get one, but not yet sure it’s worth selling my current one simply to upspend. I’m sort of interested in an 00-14T hog top in satin...

Re: NAMM 2020

I’ve been waiting to hear if the mahogany 12-fret there was a Traditional model. I saw it in a picture hanging on the top row, small pickguard, and what appeared to be tortoise bridge pins like a T model. Was it a 00 or 0? The 0-T version already exists and Collings hasn’t announce a new 00-12 fret...

Re: NAMM 2020

I'm guessing there will be something, but hard to say. I still dream of a "Critter" D1AT in the Julian finish, but Collings has already said "No" to me many times. Word on the street 'latest rumor mill"..... will be available on all T series.... all sizes !! https://www.col...
