I have tried all types and sizes of picks over the years but I prefer the smaller Dunlop translucent picks. Since this thread started, back when.... I've changed from D'Ad EJ24s to the new 'nano coated' D'Ad XS 13-56 on my CJmhA. First set lasted 4mos, just put on a new set last week. I tend to slide on the strings a lot and the nano coating makes for a much better result with no letdown in tone. bert He...

I have a D2h (1999) and a D1 (2002). I made a pleck to both 4 years ago already but am not convinced of the process on the frets.
For me that belittles the action and makes you lose the attack.
Next time I plan a complete refrettage of the handle.
