I thought you might.alphasports wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 12:41 pmUpdate: finally put the original Lollars back in, I had never heard them in this guitar as I bought it with SD's preinstalled. I like the Lollars, sold the SD's.alphasports wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 2:06 pm FWIW I put SD '59's in my CLD but the Lollars are on standby duty.

Re: pre/post 2013?
Eric, There's a "Collings Gathering" member from the eastern USA, named Jim who has a brazillian CW serial # 300 if I'm not mistaken. One of the finest guitars i've heard. Made in 1990. Wonderful guitar. http://www.daviddugas.com/guitars/0300/0300.htm Wow. I'm sure that's a phenomenal gui...

Re: pre/post 2013?
if you haven't heard a 20 or 30 year old Collings.... you're missing something. Agreed. I think you can also hear great improvements in younger guitars. In my case, it was about 7 years where the 2001 D2H matured into a finer sound. And I've heard that from a few others -- that 5-7 years is where t...

Re: Wireless Guitar Cable

Re: Calton Cases - in pictures
Forgive my ignorance on the topic -- it's been a while since I checked in on Calton cases (though I do own a couple). These current iteration seem to be very solid. Are the hints of quality issues from 15(ish) years ago completely gone from today's production line? Those older ones had so many probl...
