I have a parlor 1mhT with Collings Case - mint. Not really looking to see but would entertain an offer.

Re: Virtuoso Cleaner and Polish on Collings i35lc Vintage
I bought their cleaner/polisher combo. The cleaner I've used and liked. The polisher I've not felt the need to even open. Did you use the cleaner on the lc vintage with good results?. I have used the cleaner on products without checking in the lacquer with great results. I am afraid it will seep in...

Re: James tailpiece
I learned that the endpin was glued in when I researched after breaking it off! I had to drill out what was left. The James tp screw holes lined up prefectly. The endpin hole in the James tp was elongated to accomodate slighty different endpin locations. Great decision to go with the James, best in...

Re: Virtuoso Cleaner and Polish on Collings i35lc Vintage
Has anyone had success using virtuoso polish and cleaner on their i35lc Vintage? I am afraid the product will seep into the cracks of the checked finish and turn white. Any tips on how to remove arm haze and keep instruments with checked finish clean would be much appreciated. Cheers The I35LC Vint...

Re: Collings 01A/Assisted Living Music
I just watched your video Maple, and you brought back some very dear memories. I started playing an assisted living center when we admitted my mother, talked into playing by the activity director there. My first outing there, was introduced to an 80 year old man who was not a resident, but who visi...

Re: Music Therapy - Collings 01A
This is great! Hope others will follow your lead. I will also say that it is a good low risk (not directed at you Dale) place to play in front of people that are just happy you are there with them. If you haven't done a gig yet and want to, this is a perfect opportunity. The people there really nee...

Music Therapy - Collings 01A
I share music in an assisted living community with a resident who has played and taught violin his entire adult life. It never ceases to amaze us the response music evokes on the residents we visit. Anyone else doing music for elderly residents with memory loss? If so any strategies you are using th...
