Collings T with 2 3/16 bridge spacing

Are the Traditional bridge spacings 2 5/16 ? I prefer 3/16 and it seems the Standards come with those and the Trad models have the wider spacing. I noticed the pattern looking through the inventory of a couple big Collings dealers.

Freg,

Yes, I believe you are correct. Look at the various models on the Collings website and the bridge spec tells the string spacing at the saddle.

My OM1-T has a 2 5/16” spacing at the bridge.

Yes I was hoping to pick one up on the used market and then saw the spacing. It will have to be ordered looks like.

I understand that drop-in saddles are now an option with Traditionals, if that matters to you.

Are the Satin finishes available as an option on all Collings, and is this the same finish as on the Julian Lage -- same thickness, etc? Maybe I can find something close-ish on the market already with the narrow bridge spacing.

You can get a Traditonal with narrow spacing.

I have a D2HATS(satin) with 1 11/16th nut and 2 3/16th bridge. And i believe you can order any T model(except CJ45T) with the vintage Satin finish.
A Satin option is available for Standard models, but its different Satin than the vintage satin on T models, spoke to Collings about this.

I really like the narrow nut neck, gives my hand a nice break from the standard 1 3/4 T neck.

I'd recommend a used OM1AJL, if u can get one. They are incredible. Also the new 2020 T models, with new neck construction and Satin finish are just incredible too.
My D1ATS & D2HATS, will never go anywhere.

Good luck with search, something always pops up if ur patient.👍

I also have a 2020 D1ATS with 11/16th neck and 2 3/16 bridge. Very comfortable to play - my favorite neck carve ever. I did not really expect the satin finish to make much difference, but after nearly a year - I really think it does. I think it is slightly more articulate and resonant without the poly sealer.

I was under the impression the standard models come with 1 3/4 and 2 3/16. Is that a misprint in all the vendors I have seen this listed? My other non Collings guitars have these measurements and it really fits my hands well
