Glad to hear you like it...the sound you describe sounds like something I would like as well. A Collings case is perfect for that guitar...That really completes the packgage. I did not know Collings made any of their cases for the CJ/Slope D series? I knew they made Dreadnought (square shoulder), OM, C-10, and a couple other models, but did not know they ever made any for the CJ shape...that's good to know. I'd like to find one too....I likely will eventually have a CJ 45 but could use it for another guitar I have until I get a CJ 45. If anyone knows of one for sale...I'd sure be interested.

From all indications, this is one of the greatest models ever introduced by Collings! And since it's so new, it would a real surprise to find one on the used market! But you never know. Good luck with the wait!!!

A guy on AGF had one for sale just days after he received it. Decided he wanted to go back to OMs. It was one with the Adi top, so retailed for $7,400. He was selling it for $6,200 shipped. Crazy good deal. Pretty sure it got snapped up quick. I know the Reverb listing has been closed. Weird to have one on the used market already when most shops are still waiting to get their first new ones in…

I heard (unfortunately too late) about one that sold used already. I'd bet that it wasn't all about size..guessing the guy heard something he didn't like about it...who knows. If it had an Adi top..those can take a while to break in. I just have the gut feeling that these are going to be really good guitars. I am looking forward to more of them getting out there and learning more about them.

Yep. I would have snatched it up but I didn’t want another Adi top. Have one already broken in on my 2017 D1AT. I’m about to turn 70 and don’t have the patience or desire to break in another one. Thus I ordered my CJ-45T with Sitka.

Does anyone know if it actually sold? I was sure tempted. I got the sense the listing was pulled but couldn’t tell for sure.

Looking forward to hearing about the Sitka version as well.
