Up for sale is a great 2007 John Walker Wise River. #35, based on a 1941 J-35.

Red spruce top, mahogany back and sides, natural top, firestripe pickguard. 1 11/16" nut width, good chunky neck profile, short scale, Waverly tuners. Excellent condition for its age. The only blemishes are two little nicks on the back of the neck behind the nut where apparently someone over-fastened an Elliot or Paige type capo when not in use (or the capo slipped?) and it dug into the wood just a little. It's not bad, but it's there. I had planned to have it touched up/fixed, but haven't gotten around to it since it never really bothered me.

Comes in a nice faux-alligator Cedar Creek case.

Plays great up and down the neck. Loud, full and rich. It honks. I'm only selling it because a friend has decided to sell a guitar I've admired for a while, and I had to act fast. If I could afford to keep two really nice guitars right now, I would not be selling this one.

$2,750 including shipping within the lower 48. No trades, sorry.

I'll have photos/audio later this week when I'm off the road.
