pjkesq, your d2hsb looks great, love these played-in Collings guitars, my CJ is 2008.

the way to have an imgur pic appear in your post is select your pic in imgur... on the right side click copy by the BBCode for forums, then just paste that link into your post where you want it to appear. That's what I did with my trial pic of my CJ, worked. makes nav forum much easier in my experience. best

Thanks armdog! I feel like a loser, but I don't see BBCode for forums? Would love to get the photo to appear in my post?

It seems like you don’t even have to use the BBC code with Imgur. Here is my attempt to copy your photo and use the picture of the mountain at the top of this window, in the toolbar. Then paste between

pjkesq,
When you log-in to imgur, there should be a circle on the top right with a letter that reps your imgur name. Click on that, go down - click on images. The pics you have stored on imgur should appear. Click on your D2H pic and the BBCode (plus other options) should appear on the right . Click on the BBCode and paste to your post.

I think that Frank / Eric admin probably like this because our pics aren't taking up the forums storage bandwidth.

Don't feel bad, it took me many tries before I got the hang of imgur.

Hi PJ, I’m still figuring this out but here’s a couple of points I think might be relevant (but not sure). I use Imgur on iPhone and iPad, and I don’t believe BBCode options appear on these devices. Also, I think you can set BBCode option by default in your individual “User Profile” on this Forum — see below.

OK.. here goes.. Lets see if it works. My problem was I hadn't created an imagur account. I know have and uploaded a photo of my Waterloo JK. Clicked on copy BBCode and will now paste it here:

NICE! Good job with the posting and nice guitar.

BTW, Are you using a laptop/desktop or phone/tablet? If you’re using a phone/tablet device, where did you find BBCode on Imgur?

pjkesq, sweet looking Waterloo... good job with imgur.

Posting pics on the old Collings forum was baffling. This new forum is using newer/better tech... why I wanted to bring up the BBCode pic posting. Things are off to a good start.

Again, using imgur offloads the storage space requirement which, over time, could/would bogg down forum's data management.

So, no one has any excuse for not posting pics... that's right. :)
