Yes, and I’m guessing that would be all the mando I need.

Love my MF, but it doesn’t get used much. Can wait to hear one and play one.

Care to guess the price? I’m thinking $1500-$2000 range.... maybe more, thinking about it.

I had similar numbers in mind. ~$2,000 at the high end, depending upon the degree to which they are handmade.

Hi guys, I guess I can understand the archtop guitars but flat top mandos ? Whilst I wish Collings every success, I can't envisage these being as much of a success as the flat-top guitars have been. I hope I'm wrong.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but I'm assuming that the construction is arched, probably similar to a Gibson A1? Does anyone know? I wouldn't be in for a flat-topped mandolin from Waterloo, but I would be pretty intrigued by a modern version of something akin to a Gibson A1.

I take it back, I guess they are flat-topped according to Scott at the Mandolin Cafe. He's got a post with their basic specs.

I scored a sunburst model at TME about 6 weeks ago.

I had an MF for a few years, but this Waterloo is more my speed for my ability and usage. I actually like it better. It had a more full tone and has all the cut I need. Highly recommended!
