Waterloo WL12 NGD
I have played this instrument for several days now. I am blown away. Any others owners of this model care to share their thoughts.

I've had my WL12 for a couple of years now (#1316) and all I can say is that it only gets better and better! I still love my Gibson and my National, but the Waterloo gets most of my attention these days. I've never owned an out-of-the-box guitar that was so effortless to play, and the tone just keeps maturing. It's a lifer, for sure. Enjoy your new guitar!!

Hi, I bought my wl12 in November 2016. Got it ho w and decided I didn't like it so much. Hung it on the wall in my little office where it listened to the radio whenever I was in there (I spend a lot of time in there).
In the following January, they told my I had throat cancer , then after a couple of months of tests and biopsies.
This is the guitar in January 2017 : https://youtu.be/g0U-01huRdc

In April, the treatment began. It was appalling. I lost my voice, and over 40lbs and was in constant pain. The Waterloo wnt back on the wall.
I was in no state to play guitar for some months but when I could I sat in my office and made a nuisance of myself on various guitar related forums (ok - fora). I listeed to BBC talk radio most of the time through my large '70s speakers.
Some time after , maybe May the following year, I took it down and it had 'blossomed:

It continues to improve - even if I don't. [url]https://youtu.be/HvkaEhSRaVM/url]

I've had my WL-12 for 4 years now, love it. Shines w/ Martin Retros (12s). Funny thing is, I was the 3rd owner, bought it from a guy who bought it from the original owner. Glad the first two guys were tone deaf.
