Waterloo for Flatpicking

I am going to be traveling a lot by car and would like to pick up a Waterloo to take with me. I am a bluegrass flatpicker and I know the smaller Waterloos are not designed for that purpose, but would like advice as to whether any of the models would be useful for this purpose. I don't expect to be playing with others, just solo practice. The JK is too big for what I want. Also curious if the mahogany topped models might be more suitable.
Thanks

My WL-12 Mh works pretty well for flatpicking.
I think it's a good all arounder.

How did that mahogany top Waterloo work out for you?
