I was looking for a fingerstyle guitar that had the same type of string spacing as my Martin M-30 with a less chunky neck. When building my Custom OM2, I knew I wanted it to be short scale, but wasn't sure exactly what I wanted in the neck. They suggested the Vintage Now neck. I had never played one and the store I was buying through had one. I absolutely loved it! Plenty of room to fingerpick and a neck that was easier for me to navigate (i don't have huge hands)
I do agree that it was a bit stiff for the first couple of months, but it is starting to feel and sound exactly as I wanted it.
