Hi everyone - longtime Colling owner here. I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Traditional (likely a D2HT, possibly a baked top), and I'm curious about something. The standard Traditional nut width is listed at 1-3/4", which is what I've always wanted for my Collings. I think it generally comes in at about 1.5" (or was it 1.51" or 1.52"?) right at and just below the nut with a caliper, where I measure the outside span E-E there.
Wondering what this same measurement is for the Traditional dread models? When I look at various images on the internet, it almost looks like there is a tad more room to the edges on the fretboard on either side of the E strings than I'm used to seeing, but this could easily be my mistake.
If you have the time/inclination, I'd love to get a couple of these measurements on your D Traditionals - especially those in the 2018-current range.
Thanks,
Doug

Re: Question: string spacing at nut on Traditional models
I just measured my 2019 D1AT with medium D’Add EJ17s at 1.515625, or 1/64 over 1-1/2.
