I-35 LC with Soap Bar P90's

Thanks for a great forum. I am fortunate to have a 2014 I-35 LC with Lollar Soap Bar cream pickups that I bought brand new in 2014 and have not played it much at all. After I bought it, I really did not feel I was worthy and so, it sat in the case while I beat up on my used 290 and lesser guitars. The I-35 LC is just fantastic. I have not seen any others like it I wondering if anyone else has one? I am thinking about starting to play it and I would like some advice on pickup height and any other comments about it. The photos are from the ad when I bought it from the Music Emporium in 2014 and it looks the same today. I play mostly clean through vintage amps such as my 57 Twin or 65 Deluxe Reverb. Thanks

Thanks, for the encouragement. In fact, I just recently pulled it out and started playing it, again. Adjusted the pup heights, etc. It is just fantastic!

Very cool guitar there. I’m a P90 fan. I bet that sounds great.

I am fortunate to have several higher end amps and last night I played it through a Matchless Chieftain Exotic Wood amp and it was marvelous. I rarely can find that perfect clean tone that just makes it all happen. In the words of the wine lovers "nice pairing". The I-35 LC has sustain that goes on for miles, it seems, especially the lower string frequencies. I went from the original 11's down to D'Addario XL nickel wound 10's and for my hands, it is much more playable. Drop D tuning is fantastic.
