Howdy folks! Wondering if anyone has any experience with putting an Elliot capo onto a Collings 0002h.
I used to use a Paige capo on a dreadnought i used to play, and really enjoyed the functionality of that style of capo. I’ve now got this 0002h as my main instrument, and i would like to have some capo like that again. But I’m wondering if it’s even possible with the neck and headstock profile. I know they custom make Elliots to fit your specific instrument, but the 0002h has some pretty wide and square shoulders on the headstock, and also has a volute.
Would love to hear if anyone has had experience with this! Thanks, y’all.
Elliot Capo on a Collings 0002h

TJ, I used to have a Collings 0001G. The folks at Elliott made me a capo for the 1 13/16" neck. It worked like a charm.

Scott Elliot will make the capo for the exact dimensions of your guitar. I had him make one for a waterloo JK, Collings D2H, Collings OM2, Martin M-30 and a 1957 Gibson J-50. The first 4 fit like a glove, still waiting for the capo for my new (old) Gibson.
I have tried every capo known to man. My search ended when I got my first Elliot Capo.
