New Guy!
Hello everyone,
I’m a newbie here but I’ve been playing guitar for over 40 years. Just got my first pro guitar last week, a CJ35. I can’t believe the tone and how easy it is to play. It almost plays itself! Ha!! Happy to be a new owner of a Collings guitar and I’m sure I’ll have lots of questions for you long time owners of these amazing instruments.
A little about me: I’m in my 60’s, retired from day work, I live in AZ, I’m a drummer in a very active cover band playing twice a week even thru this cold and flu season, my first love is playing drums but acoustic guitar soothes my soul and mind especially now with the CJ! Hope to start doing some solo guitar gigs in local establishments soon. (Read when I get good enough and that could be awhile! Ha).
Thanks for your time and hope this site helps me learn some cool things about the guitar!

Welcome. Nice guitar also. I have to check them out a little closer. In the real world the new guy always gets a little bit of a hard time but here it's all good. Welcome.
