What picks do you like?
I primarily play fingerstyle but enjoy flat picking and strumming as well.
What picks do ya'll like and why. I've been enjoying Carl Miners playing and he uses a Jim Dunlop Dunlop Tortex Flex Triangle 1.14mm Purple Guitar Pick.
Great player and gets a fantastic tone.

1.5mm (give or take) in the Dawg, Golden Gate, Red Bear, Blue Chip, Apollo varieties. I’ve tried the Dunlop PrimeTone and they’re okay. Also the Wegens, but they sound too plastic-y to me.

I like the 1.14 Ultrex by Dunlop. Cheap and long lasting.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have the Ultex 1.14 teardrop and like them. Have you tried them in the triangle version?

Blue Chip TPR45. I favor a slightly rounded pick with just enough flex and not too thick. This pick is Doyle Lawson's favorite pick for mandolin playing. I moved from the traditional pointed teardrop pick years ago when I found the TPR shape.

I like the Collings guitar picks that are available from the Collings website. They are not too big or thick and have nice tone
