Week end in NYC / Rémi from Paris

Hello everyone,

A big fan (guitarist too) of bluegrass, I have the great joy of having seen and heard Billy String and Bela Fleck in Paris recently.
I would like some advice from you because I am taking a weekend in NYC on March 9-10
and would like to know if there are clubs where I could meet groups in this style of music.
Thank you,
Remi

Thanks a lot
I missed Michael Daves because the date on the booking site was wrong. Too bad, I love this guy.

Many years ago on some guitar listserv, I exchanged a few messages with a Parisian named Patrick... (I can't recall his surname) who played guitar in a bluegrass band there. You know him, right? 😃

Perhaps Peillon? His surname began with the letter "P." Not much to go on, I suppose.

Great,
My son is a pilot for AirFrance. mariott hotel in time square then two days of cycling a lot to Brooklyn, Broadway, a bar with music in Greenwich.
Without forgetting my architect side to revisit the history of the first towers in the city.
It was a dream from my youth that came true.

Sounds like a great visit. Did you cycle in Prospect Park, in Brooklyn?

Ah, yes, the frontier between Williamsburg and Bushwick. I haven't been there in years—way too trendy for this old geezer. A bit different from Paris, no?
