As noted in the Acoustic forum, The Music Emporium is selling two prototype electrics: the 620 SM LC and the 71. The former is an evolution of the Statesman, reaching for a Gretsch vibe (e.g., trestle brace). The pickups look quite interesting, sort of like staple P90s (one single and one double), from a brand I don't know about.

The 71 is an offset body, a la the 360, somewhat Jazzmaster-esque, with a Maestro vibrato and J-style bridge pickup; the neck pickup is a rail pickup similar to a Charlie Christian pickup. Neck joins the body at the 19th fret.
