Collings Marketing, etc.

Seems like all the new or interesting stuff Collings is advertising, for quite a long time now, is heavly tilted toward electrics. The only acoustic-related news was the Hill Country announcement, which seems kind of "moot" given the EXTREMELY limited availabilty. so limited, in fact, that it's almost as if that model doesn't exist. a puzzler, to me...

I guess it depends what ads you're stumbling across. Here's a cool piece from NAMM about the Hill Country Series. They're building 5 a week....& they do exist. It's a small company so when they add a model they can't just turn the dial up and churn them out. I had a chance to play both mahogany and rosewood dreadnaughts and a rosewood OM on my visit to Austin in November.
