I haven’t had a chance to play one of these. Has anyone here? I’d also be curious about how they compare to the non-traditional 12-fret 0s ( I have a 12-fret 02H SB).

I’d love to get some opinions on this too. I’m intrigued by this model.

can't give more than the following description, as i don't have a feel for describing wine or guitar tone nuances.

i played one at acoustic vibes in tempe in august. i really liked it. would have bought it if i didn't have a parlor. the parlor is loud, and the 0 was louder, of course. light. balanced (tone). it was sitka, but i can't remember if it was baked. i don't think so. i think it's important that it was 12-fret.

I've heard nothing but good things about them, and it's on my radar for a "next purchase". I've spoken to a couple dealers who say the baked sitka and hog versions are glorious.

It’s on my radar too as my next purchase. I once owned a non-Traditional 01 12-fret Walnut/German that was outstanding. I’d love to try one with the Traditional specs. Pretty sure I would fall in love.

Want to follow this thread and have related questions, but didn't want to hijack it, so starting a separate thread regarding 0's and P's.

Since I wrote the original post, I now have a 12-fret 01EMC (Engelmann over Mountain cedar), and I still have the 12-fret 02H (Sitka over EIR). Love ‘em both.
I recently got to try a 12-fret 02H Traditional (Sitka top, not baked), and was able to compare it to a 14-fret 02H (Sitka top, not a traditional). The traditional didn’t grab me (they were still changing the strings when I got there, I’d called ahead and asked about the Traditional). I preferred their 14-fret 02H. The Traditional had a little more bass, but the 14-fret won in the midrange and trebles. I realize that other examples of the Traditional might be more to my liking, so I wouldn’t write them off from just trying one. I do prefer the wider string spacing at the saddle on the Traditional. I might prefer the “standard” builds, since I do love the ones I have. I’d still like to try one with a baked top.
