0002H T limited run?

I got an email from Collings announcing limited run of this model (they say 24 instruments). No pricing or dealer info.

The link just went to photos in the custom gallery.

I’ve been wondering if there would be a 000 T model but the last dealer I spoke with hadn’t heard anything about it.

They need make more than 24! Not enough for us all to get one...
Looks like an incredible offering. Stunning.
There's gonna be 24 really happy campers out there

Hopefully they continue the T models to:
000 12 fret
DS models.

The Mail I got said it was a 24&7/8" scale (on a 000?? and 1 & 3/4" nutwidth Seems a very odd spec for a 12 fret 000.

These folks have one advertised.
Good eye!

Yowza that’s more than the CJ-45 T. Quite alluring.

I hope I can find one to try. I’m not sure about the deep body because of arm/shoulder issues.

Edited to add: This is in the ballpark of my dream guitar. Will be poring over specs.

the info i saw said it is modeled after a custom order guitar, hence the 'non traditional' 000 specs. I personally would prefer the 1&3/4 nut width.

I'll have to say i was interested until the deep body spec. I have a C10 deep body, the guitar is amazing, i often say my best sounding Collings acoustic, however for long gigs i never pull it, it just takes a little comfort away and more effort to play. I don't anticipate ever getting rid of it but never another deep body for me.

I was recently musing on this forum about the missing traditionals and particularly the 12 fret 000. I was anticipating a massive GAS attack should one ever arrive.

This new custom looks fantastic and I’m sure will be a wonderful guitar but I am relieved to say it’s not for me. In my opinion the magic of the 000 is partly in the long scale and shallower body- gives it that rounded tone with the clarity I love. So I am spared financial ruin (even if I could find one here in the UK).

Would be interested to hear a report on it though if anyone gets a chance to play one.

For me as well the deep body makes it a no-go.

They are gorgeous and I’m sure will sound fantastic. Still hope to see/play one someday.
