Sweet! It looks in excellent shape. I have a WL-S Deluxe and a WL-S. The WL-S is my secound WL-S that I have owned and they are very consistent. The WL-S guitars have a touch more individual note separation than the Deluxes. These ladder braced guitars are hard to find. Enjoy.

Hey Mr. Jelly,
Thanks for the reply. Actually I owe you a little thank you as I had reached out to you (under a different user name, on another forum) about these guitars before I landed one.
As for my WL-S it is in pretty great shape. There are some soft impressions on the top but that’s about it. The original owner bought it new to learn guitar and over 2-3 years just decided it wasn’t for him. So it’s been played a little but not a lot. Also as time permits I may make a tuner swap as I’m a little anal about the presentation of the guitar. I think the tuner buttons are much too aged so I’ll likely choose something with white or black buttons to match the rest of the guitar. Maybe even get a different case too.
I will definitely report back!

I would appreciate any feed back you might have once you have changed out the tuners. Personally I haven't looked into but it may be an option for me to look into. Let us know if you would. Take care.

Of course will do! In fact I have some on order right now.
However depending on your perspective this may or may not excite you. After my research I concluded, in my opinion, that (1) the tuners that will look the best and will also cover all my bases (screw holes, etc.) is the 3 on-a-plate design and (2) a traditional looking tuner is what the WL-S is asking for. Unfortunately that does not leave me with very many options unless I go the custom route which just isn’t feasible for me right now.
So it came down to the traditional 3 on-a-plate Waverlys and a different style of these Golden Age tuners from StewMac. Since I’m not really a fan of the gold plating on the Waverlys for the WL-S (and they are not even in stock) I went Golden Age again. I’m wrestling with the decision because it provides no functional improvement which would have been really nice BUT these (pic below) might add a bit sparkle to the overall look. Plus as I mentioned before I think the white buttons will match the overall look a little better than the aged ones do.

I will post pictures once I get a chance to make the swap and just cross my fingers that it will all work out.
