Does this "Collings" 0001 look 'legit' to you???

With no pick guard you won't find an easier one to convert.

Believe me, I thought about it. I’d hate to modify a Collings that early in production and the way Bill angled his bridge pins to follow the saddle would make it look really odd with a lefty saddle.. on the other hand, I’d bet a $100 that top is Engelmann. If the serial number is above 330 Collings should have some build info on it.

Looks legit to me.

I actually found another one from the same seller - https://www.ebay.com/itm/202627503968?ul_noapp=true
I'm thinking that these are legit as well. A bit 'different' than current production 000's, but "Bill-Enough" looking to be the real McCoys...

I've never seen one from that early in his career, so I'll defer to you all. If they're real (and I guess I don't have a reason to doubt it), it's very interesting to see them. I can see the "Bill enough" DNA, even if that slothead still is a trip. I sure wish that guy could take a decent picture though!
