1996 Collings 0002H – German Spruce – Steve Miller Collection (Signed) – Bill-Era Build
Posted: Tue Nov 18, 2025 11:54 am
This is a beautifully preserved Bill-era Collings 0002H, completed on August 17, 1996. It features a German spruce top (factory upcharge), East Indian rosewood back and sides, Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay, and several custom wood appointments rarely seen on this model. I listed the guitar in "very good" condition but it really has to be "Very good to excellent".
This guitar comes directly from Steve Miller’s personal collection and is hand-signed by him. Photos of signature and provenance included.
Rich, open, and exceptionally responsive 12-fret Collings tone with outstanding clarity and dynamic range. A highly musical and collectible early Collings example.
An LR Baggs Dual-Source pickup is installed and fully functional, offering an excellent natural amplified tone. Installation occurred during Steve Miller’s ownership.
