I cannot stand changing strings on my MF5! I don't know about you, but I need three hands to get the stupid string secured around the post, and once i do it's a crapshoot whether the string will hold, slip or flat-out break. And if I get away with only a couple of bleeders from string ends poking my fingertips, I coumt my blessings! FWIW I'm not a newbie at this, and I have enough manual dexterity to play the damn thing. But I have to admit that strings have totally got my number.

If you have any clever tricks I would love to hear them. I use Roger Siminoff's technique.
