I like to play and sing using"G" shapes with a capo at the fifth fret. Having a hard time finding a capo that works well on my guitar. Anyone else run into this problem? If so, have you found a capo that works that far up the neck?

Elliot Capo's are expensive. But, if you are playing a guitar that costs thousands of Dollars, why not buy the best? Elliot Capo's will custom make your capo depending on the dimensions of your guitar and how far up the neck you want to use your capo. When I purchased my Custom OM2 SS VN and Waterloo JK, they had very different necks. I corresponded with Scott Elliot and he built capo's for both guitars that are perfect. Just one man's opinion.

I have been playing since 1976 and have literally tried every capo out there. I was never satisfied till I found Elliot Capo's and my search was finally over.

the prices are very similar, but in my humble opinion, Elliot Capo's are superior to G7th Heritage Capo's.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a friend with an Elliot...will have to borrow it for a trial ride.
I appreciate the feedback.

That’s been my experience too. IMHO, the G7 Heritage is the best in the business.
