Hello all. I'm a new member here. I recently got my first Collings. A 2010 D1A and I must say it's an incredible guitar to play. I had considered a Bourgeois Vintage D and Country Boy, as well as a Martin custom D18 Adirondack GE. I had to choose without the opportunity of playing them. I am very happy with my choice. This Adirondack top is very broken in and I love the sound out of this guitar. The setup is so low and perfect it's astonishingly easy to play. So while this is my first, it probably will not be my last!

Congratulations and welcome. That's a beautiful guitar.
The key phrase in your post is: "my first Collings". If you're like many of the folks here it won't be your last.
See Collings guitars are sort of like potato chips. You can't stop at just one.

Congrats on a superb guitar, and at 10 years old it should be opening up nicely and hitting its stride tonally!
