Would They Compliment Each Other?

I've become quite taken by the Collings sound profile since my acquisition of a 0002H with a German top. It really excels at my fingerpicking and strumming with my nails. Strumming with a pick it can be too easily over powered.
My main strumming guitar is a SCGC D-12 mahogany. Since owning the Collings I find the timbre of the Santa Cruz to be too warm, too mellow. I was wondering if a Collings OM1 would be something different enough and a good enough strummer to compliment my 000.
