I’ve been looking for a nice preowned Baby 02H, or 02H, with a 1-11/16 nut, for a while now, and they are scarce; any ideas as to why?

Marc, I think there were never all that many made, by comparison w the other models

Thunder Road Guitars in Portland should have a 1 3/4 nut 02H SB available.

Sound Pure has one with interesting specs (including a 1-11/16" nut) listed on their website.

There are 6 Baby's on Reverb, only problem is 5 of them are owned by the same guy; 4 of them are "Holy Grail's", and the other one is "Truly Rare, Exceptional". They all look to be in great condition, but his prices are IMHO, crazy. I jokingly asked him if he was cornering the market to drive prices up . I like the the one for $3,999, but you can buy new for that. Oh well, I'll have to bide my time, and one will come along.

The one used 02H that I know about is sitting next to me at the moment. I everyone else is as satisfied with theirs as I am with mine, then I am not surprised that many don't turn up used. The only thing I might do differently is go 12 fret instead of 14 but that was not an option years ago when I got mine. Mine has an Englemann top. I also like the 1 11/16 nut width. As a small guitar fan, I would not mind finding a used Baby at the right price as a back up axe.

Hey Orlando, hope all is well with you and family.

I still have the maple Baby, and she is still awesome, so awesome that my wife stole her from me ; so I'm on the hunt for another Baby, or possibly an 02H.
