I've been looking for awhile now, and finally found another baby, a 2019 Baby-he.

What a beautiful Collings sound she has; the Rosewood and Engelmann combination is simply awesome

Congrats! I like them both, and oh when your ready to sell the maple please contact me - after all i am maplebaby as i used to have one.

You have to know my first answer is they are both the awesome

That said, they each have their own individual sound, and I think the Rosewood/Englemann is a little more responsive and a little brighter than the Maple/German, but I think that's due to it being a 2019, whereas the maple is a 2014. I just re-stringed both with Thomastik-Infeld Plectrum's AC111; I've been using the Plectrum's on the maple for a couple of years now, and IMHO are fantastic strings.

I wanted to sell the Maple last year, and I'm glad I didn't, because I would have been kicking myself!

I absolutely don't need another guitar. If I saw a Baby 2HE I would be in big trouble. A Baby 1E. Trouble.
