Courtesy of the fine folks at Dusty Strings in Seattle, I have taken delivery of a model WL-K. It joins 2 siblings: A Collings O2HE and a Huss & Dalton 00.
(I would be happy to post photo, but when I try to attach it says file too large-which seems odd for a simple IPhone photo). At any rate it has the superb Collings workmanship. It is definitely the lightest and brightest of the 3 guitars with almost a bell tone in the trebles with great overall balance and string separation. I play 95% fingerstyle and a lot of blues and gospel blues things for which this should be a great guitar. Looking forward to getting to know this one. I feel fortunate as there are not many Waterloos out there at the moment.

Congratulations on your new Waterloo!
Play it in good health!!

Good for you!
They are sweet guitars. I truly believe that the thinner finish on Waterloo guitars is a lesson to other guitar makers that thick finish takes away some responsiveness of guitars.
Enjoy

Your belief makes good sense!! Waterloos are wonderful sounding guitars!!
Re: NGD Waterloo WL-K
Congrats on the new WL-K. I have a WL-12 and WL-S Deluxe and the K is one model I haven't had the chance to try. Something tells me I'd like it.
Re: NGD Waterloo WL-K
You will indeed!!
