A few weeks ago I was browsing the TME site and found this. It had just came in. -> Like this one~ https://themusicemporium.com/guitars/ac ... tin-finish
I figured it wouldn't last long, so I had them send it my way. I just adore this one. I've had my share of small bodied Collings, but this one is a keeper. The parlor was just too small for me. I had a 01 G and it didn't last but a couple of months. I had a 01 Mh T 12 fret that was really nice, but the didn't play it much. All gone now, but I know this one will stick around. Been waiting on a satin model besides the OM1A JL.
This finish really makes a difference. I'd much rather have this than varnish. It makes more of a difference in my opinion. Love the subdued look with aged tuners. I was able to find a Collings case to make it complete. Just such a big, open sound from a little guitar. I enjoy~
